If you’re reporting a problem, include your macOS or browser version and the steps that reproduce it. A screenshot can help, but remove private information first. Please don’t send passwords, API keys or unrelated files.
What’s available today?
The website playground is available now. The native Mac app is still under development; App Store buttons currently show release information. There is no account to create or subscription to purchase in the playground.
The sample app windows are interactive styling previews. They don’t connect to your real Spotify, Discord, Linear or other accounts, and they don’t change your desktop. The native app targets Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later.
Keep a setup you like
Use Download .rice to save your current configuration. Playground choices are held while the page is open, so download before reloading or closing it. The file stores settings, not an installed theme pack or a backup of your Mac.
To work with an agent, use the agent panel to copy your request and configuration, then paste them into the agent you choose. Riceapple doesn’t send them automatically.
If copy or download doesn’t work
If your browser blocks clipboard access, select and copy the text in the agent panel yourself. For a downloaded configuration, check your browser’s downloads list and download permissions. A downloaded .rice file won’t apply itself to your Mac.
If the preview behaves unexpectedly, save anything you want to keep and reload the page. If it still happens, email us with the theme, scene and steps you used.
